StatsCan numbers show positive trend for city’s jobless rate

There appears to be some positive news on the local jobs front. While the national jobless rate went up last month, from 7.5-to-7.6 percent, it was a different picture here in the Thunder Bay area.

There appears to be some positive news on the local jobs front. 

While the national jobless rate went up last month, from 7.5-to-7.6 percent, it was a different picture here in the Thunder Bay area. 

According to numbers from Statistics Canada, The jobless rate in this city for January was pegged at 6.2 per cent. That’s down from the seven per cent mark recorded in December.
