Investigation of stolen guns continues: OPP

An investigation into a stolen shotgun and rifle from the back of a pickup truck in Greenstone continues.

(GREENSTONE, ON)-  Greenstone OPP continue investigating the theft of a 12 gauge shotgun and a 30-06 rifle that were stolen from a pickup truck in Geraldton, Ontario, between the first and second of November. 

Thanks to assistance from the public and the OPP canine unit, both firearms have been safely recovered.

24 year old Jacob Dalcin, owner of the pickup truck from which the firearms were taken, is charged with careless storage of a firearm contrary to section 86(1) of the Criminal Code.

The investigation into the theft is ongoing and police are still seeking information from the public.
