THUNDER BAY – A severe lightning storm lit up the skies around Thunder Bay Friday, and TBNewswatch readers were on hand to document the display.
The storm's dramatic lightning and stormcloud formations can be seen in the gallery of images from readers, above.
While it may have wowed with its awesome visuals, Thunder Bay Fire Rescue said Saturday they had received just a few minor calls in the city related to the storm, for downed hydro wires, largely in the city's south end, and lightning strikes on trees.
