Ministry of Transportation Ontario Media Update
THUNDER BAY — The Ministry of Transportation wishes to advise that Highway 61 will be closed between Arthur Street and Harbour Expressway from 10:00 pm Wednesday, September 21, until 6:00 am Thursday, September 22.
This closure is required to ensure the safety of workers and travelling public while the next stage of detailed repairs to the underside of the bridge are undertaken.
We apologize for the inconvenience and urge motorists to schedule their travel to minimize any delays. Motorists are reminded to obey and follow all traffic signage for the safety of both workers and drivers.
