THUNDER BAY — A charge is pending against a motorist in connection with a traffic accident that left a male student injured Tuesday morning.
The victim – a 15-year-old pedestrian – was struck by a vehicle in a crossover at the intersection of Walsh and Selkirk streets near St. Patrick High School, just before 8:30 a.m.
Thunder Bay Police say the youth's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
He was taken by ambulance to hospital.
Police said a charge is being laid against a 49-year-old Thunder Bay woman.
