A colourful display has recently been greeting pedestrians around Victoria Avenue.
A new art exhibit by Lakehead University students has been creating quite the buzz. The sculpture garden, located at 409 E. Victoria Ave., made by four university students is titled Art Installation in Public Spaces - Site Specific Project.
The exhibit is the final project of the program’s six-week summer course and was funded by the city of Thunder Bay. The temporary public artwork display is the first of its kind in the city.
One of the school's art professors said the display will hopefully embrace public art while bringing the community together.
The artwork will be on display until Sept. 18.
