THUNDER BAY - Police and the Coroner’s office are investigating after a man was found unresponsive at a south side park and later died in hospital.
According to a Thunder Bay Police media release, a 40-year-old man was found in the Kamview Overlook Park Sunday morning before 11 a.m. by someone walking in the area.
Emergency services were called and paramedics performed CPR before transporting the man to hospital with a police escort where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the man has been confirmed and family has been notified. An investigation is being conducted by the Coroner’s Office with assistance from the Thunder Bay Police Service criminal investigation branch as required.
