THUNDER BAY -- City police are investigating the sudden death of a person early Wednesday morning on the south side.
In a release issued early Wednesday morning, police say they are investigating the discovery of a deceased person in the 100 block of Cumming Street shortly after midnight.
The body was found in an alley way.
Further information will be available as it becomes known.
Late in the afternoon, another news release was issued to advise the public that there will be a heavy police presence in the area as officers gather information and attempt to identify possible witnesses.
