Long Lake First Nation is hosting more than 100 people for a three-day summit on prescription drug abuse. The goal is to share experiences and ideas on how to overcome the issue.

The goal is to share experiences and ideas on how to overcome the issue.

Judy Desmoulin, health director for Long Lake First Nation’s community clinic, said they've managed to keep most of their patients in their detox programs.

As for the summit, Desmoulin said the goal is to allow participants to learn from one another.
The summit concludes Thursday.
