THUNDER BAY – Conor McGoey’s board game is poised to go in production after reaching his $55,000 Kickstarter goal.

The local man, who heads Inside Up Games, put his tabletop game Summit the Board Game on Kickstarter in June with hopes of getting enough backers and finances to put his prototype into full-scale production.

With more than a day to spare McGoey reached the $55,000 goal and has since collected extra funds to unlock Kickstarter “stretch goals.”

McGoey last spoke to tbnewswatch.com during a Canada Day game demonstration, where he expressed a mix of excitement and nervousness about the final days of his Kickstarter campaign.
