Superior Strike military exercise to hit Dog Lake this weekend

Residents in the Dog Lake area should not be alarmed if they see armed military personnel this weekend.

Residents in the Dog Lake area should not be alarmed if they see armed military personnel this weekend. 

About 50 soldiers from the Lake Superior Scottish Regiment, along with several other squadrons will be conducting a training exercise called "Superior Strike". 

The public is advised the soldiers will be carrying weapons, and shooting blank simulation ammo around the Dog Lake area. 

The exercise begins tonight and continues day and night until Sunday morning.
