THUNDER BAY – Police have released surveillance video showing two men in hoodies with one holding a sledgehammer, who allegedly committed a heist of an Intercity area jewelry store last week.
The Thunder Bay Police Service on Thursday publicly released the video, which shows the two suspects who broke into Exquisite Gold and Gems on Memorial Avenue on May 13. The time on the video indicates the incident happened just after midnight.
The two gained entry into the store, located in a strip mall, by making a large hole in the wall of an adjacent business.
Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not provided by police. Their faces do not appear to be visible in the video that has been publicly released.
