City police have charged a 38-year-old-man in connection to an armed robbery at a southside ATM.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say they arrested the man sometime Friday morning. The incident took place in the vicinity of an ATM at near Superior Credit Union on Syndicate Avenue at 7:30 a.m.
Police say a lone male with a knife approached the victim and demanded his money.
The victim complied and the suspect ran off toward Victoria Avenue.
The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
Police say they are also looking to see if the man is connected to the robbery of the Oliver Road and High Street Mac’s Convenience Store on Thursday.
