THUNDER BAY -- A man charged in an alleged stabbing death at a north-side apartment complex will return to court next month.
Randel Wabasse, 23, was charged with second-degree murder and breach of probation following an incident at Andras Court on South Cumberland Street on May 14.
Police were called to the apartment building just after 8 a.m. that day and discovered a severely injured male.
Adam Nicodemus Beaver, 46, was rushed to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and was pronounced dead.
The accused appeared in person at the Thunder Bay Courthouse Friday morning. He was remanded until Oct. 3.
Wabasse remains in custody.
A second person was arrested by police immediately after the incident but was released; they were not identified or charged.
