Police have arrested a suspect following a stabbing outside of the Shoreline hotel Wednesday morning.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say officers were called to a south-side home just after 1 p.m. Thursday. Officers were responding to an assault that was occurring inside the home.
When officers arrived on scene they spoke to a man that had just left his home. The man was identified as the suspect wanted by police for the stabbing incident on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old suspect has been charged with assault with a weapon and breach of probation.
He is expected to appear in court Friday.
Police did not release the name of the suspect arrested.
