Police are searching for the man involved in a robbery at a convenience store in the city’s south core Friday.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a call about a robbery at the Simpson Street Mac’s Convenience Store around 9:30 p.m. Police say the man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police are looking at video surveillance of the robbery.
The incident was also posted on the Mac’s Crime Buster Facebook page. Officials with Mac’s describe the man as six-foot weighing about 200 pounds wearing a dark sleeved shirt, dark shorts and white shoes.
The Facebook page also says that the man used a syringe during the robbery.
