Suspect sought in Barb’s Laundromat robbery

THUNDER BAY – Police are investigating a robbery of a laundromat on the city’s north side.

According to a release, officers responded to a break and enter early Wednesday morning at the Barb’s Laundromat on Cumberland Street.

Video surveillance shows the glass in the front door being smashed at approximately 1:45 a.m. A man proceeded to enter the business and left taking only a few small items.

The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie, light coloured pants, a toque and a bandana over his face.
