Suspect sought in Sunday north-side purse-snatching

A 43-yearold woman walking along a north-side bike path on Sunday says she was the victim of a purse snatching. The woman told police she was walking on the path between Windsor and Sequoia streets at about 9:30 p.m.

A 43-yearold woman walking along a north-side bike path on Sunday says she was the victim of a purse snatching.

The woman told police she was walking on the path between Windsor and Sequoia streets at about 9:30 p.m. when a man came up behind her and grabbed her purse. The victim was not injured.

Police say the suspect, who fled the scene on foot with the purse, is described as six-feet tall with a medium build.

He was wearing a black hoodie, jeans and white shoes at the time of the robbery.
