THUNDER BAY – Thunder Bay Police Service are investigating after a suspected body was discovered in a wooded area near the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Police were called to the wooded area north of the hospital early Thursday morning. Several officers are on scene along with the forensics unit.
An area to the side of the trail north of the hospital is also taped off.
Police said in a release issued Thursday that the matter is now being handled by the coroners' office.
