Suspect sought in Barb's Laundromat robbery Video

A robbery at Barb’s Laundromat on Victoria Avenue has police turning to the public to help identify the suspect.
THUNDER BAY – Police are investigating a robbery of a laundromat on the city’s south side.

According to a release issued by Thunder Bay Police on Friday, officers were dispatched to a report of a panic alarm Tuesday, January 2 at about 7 p.m. at the Barb’s Laundromat on Victoria Avenue.

A man entered the business, pulled out a bag and demanded money from the till. The 62-year-old female employee complied and the man left the vicinity on foot.

The suspect is described as standing six feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark pants and a black hoodie with white print on the front.
