WHITE RIVER, ON — A Toronto man will appear in court in February on two charges after an incident on Highway 17 at White River.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers conducting stationary radar enforcement observed an eastbound vehicle being driven at a high rate of speed on Jan. 10.
They initiated a traffic stop, and found that the driver had a suspended licence.
The 21-year-old man was charged with stunt driving—driving at a speed more than 50 kilometres an hour over the limit—and with driving while under suspension.
OPP also impounded his vehicle for seven days.
