(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Sioux Narrows man for an impaired driving offence.
On Thursday, November 25, 2016 just before 1:30 in the afternoon, police received report of a possible impaired driver northbound on Highway 71 from Sioux Narrows.
Police located the vehicle and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol.
After registering a Fail on the Approved Screening Device, the male driver was transported for further tests.
A 49-year-old Sioux Narrows man has been charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle With More than 80 mg of Alcohol in Blood contrary to section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code. He is to attend Kenora Court on January 19, 2017 to answer to the charge.
