THUNDER BAY -- Synergy North says crews are dealing with multiple power outages in the Thunder Bay area.

The latest is in the area of John Street Road and White Park Road.

The utility on Thursday tweeted the outage is due to tree contact with a power line and the electricity should be restored around 11 a.m.

A second outage in the Copenhagen Road and Byers Road area is also under investigation, with power also expected to be restored by 11 a.m.

A third outage, along Mapleward Road, just off Dawson Road, was reported earlier Thursday. About 100 customers were affected and power was expected to be restored by 9 a.m.
