THUNDER BAY – Synergy North is encouraging its customers to go electronic as a way to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

“We know our customers are doing their part by staying home to help flatten the curve,” said Robert Mace, president and CEO, Synergy North, in a release issued Tuesday by the utility.

“Our hope is that by making the change to electronic billing, customers will enjoy the ease and convenience of receiving their bill directly to their personal device without making a trip to the mailbox.”

By going electronic, customers gain access the MyEnergy service, which allows them to manage their energy account online, check out their energy consumption and access past and present statements to ensure payment and receipt of their bill on time.

“Nothing changes other than how you receive your bill” Mace continues, “if anything, customers have more information available to them after making the change” Customers can register for electronic billing by visiting synergynorth.ca or calling Synergy North at 1-833-428-1451.
