Paramedics took a man to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre after he was found lying naked and bleeding on top of a roof.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers responded to a call about a naked and bloodied man lying on a roof on Brodie Street just after 2 p.m. Sunday. After a while, the man climbed back into the home and police escorted him to an ambulance.

The man appeared to have cuts along his legs.

Police say he was taken to the hospital for observations.

Neighbours in the area say the man appeared intoxicated and that the there may have been a house party at the residence the night before.

Gordon Cripps, who called police, has lived in the area for the past year and said he’s never seen anything like this before. Last night he was walking his dog around 11:30 p.m. and said around 10 people were having a party.

Around 7 a.m. his mother woke him after they heard screaming and yelling. He said he heard someone yelling that they were going to kill themselves.

“I used to live in Toronto so this is nothing,” Cripps said. “This is the first time I’ve ever seen this though.”

The investigation is ongoing.
