THUNDER BAY — The Tbaytel for Good Community Fund has launched its fall campaign.
Until Oct. 23, Tbaytel is inviting teachers, students, parents, volunteers, not-for-profit groups, coaches, community members, associations and others in its Northern Ontario service area to apply for funding.
The program supports a broad range of community initiatives.
Past recipients have included educational programming, community patrols, and arts projects among others.
Tbaytel said it will support four projects this year: two in the $5,000 category and two in the $2,000 category.
It said submissions may be made for anything from equipment and supplies to the development of new client programming.
Winners will be determined by public voting from Nov. 9 to Nov. 20.
