THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Police Service is currently investigating following an incident at an Edward Street residence that happened last night.
On Friday night, area residents posted photos to social media which appear to depict Thunder Bay Police Service officers at the residence with weapons drawn.
Later posts include photos of what appears to be a person being removed from the residence on a gurney.
Police confirm that an investigation was started last night but no further information is currently available.
UPDATE: Police say the incident was a serious assault on the 100 block of South Edward Street.
One male was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
One Male and one Female were charged with aggravated assault.
Police Continue to Hold the scene.
