THUNDER BAY -- Officials with the catholic elementary teachers association say the separate school board will lock them out if they go ahead with strike action.

President Aldo Grillo says it has received legal notice of the board's intentions.

The teachers association has said that some sort of withdrawal of services could take place by Monday, as it steps up its battle for a new contract.

There are no new talks slated, after the last ones through a Provincial conciliator failed.
