Teen arrested after River Terrace break in

Police charged a 16-year-old boy after a home in the River Terrace area was broken into Wednesday.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say it is alleged that the suspected teen broke into the home Wednesday morning, and stole a number of items.

The accused now faces charges of break and enter, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.

Police arrested and charged the youth at a Picton Avenue home Wednesday afternoon.

Police are now investigating a number of similar incidents that were reported to have taken place in the John Street and Junot Avenue area over the past month.
