A 17-year-old faces attempted murder charges following a shooting incident Friday night on the Wunnumin Lake First Nation.
Nishnawbe-Aski Police responded to reports of several shots being fired in the community and found a 25-year-old man had suffered serious injuries.
He's been transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre where he's listed in stable condition.
A search of the community following the shooting led police to take the teen into custody.
Police say they also believe the suspect may have been involved in a second incident in which shots were fired.
The investigation into that case continues.
