A 13-year-old Newfoundland boy is dead following a collision near Wawa between a tractor-trailer and an SUV.
The crash took place just before noon Sunday on Highway 17, near Rabbit Blanket Park.
Officials with the OPP say the northbound transport lost control on a downhill grade and struck the passenger side of the southbound SUV.
Another occupant of the vehicle remains in hospital, while two others were treated and released.
The driver of the transport now faces charges.
