Police arrested two teen girls and are now looking for a teenaged boy who allegedly chased, attacked and robbed a university student Tuesday night.

Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the incident took place just after 10 p.m. on Enniskillen Avenue at Crooks Street. Police say a woman was walking alone at the time of the attack.

Police say the woman was assaulted and robbed by three suspects after they followed and chased her for several blocks.

The victim sustained minor injuries during the attack.

Police say they arrested a 14-year-old girl when they arrived on scene. Officers later arrested a second suspect, a 15-year-old girl, at her home.

Officers continue to investigate and are still searching for a third suspect, believed to be a 15-year-old boy.

The accused females have been charged with robbery. They are now in custody and are expected to appear in court via video Wednesday.
