THUNDER BAY — The city will be relocating its revenue division to the north core.
The office will now be located at the Whalen building, 34 Cumberland St. North, in unit 501 effective June 24.
The office is currently located on the first floor of City Hall.
Chantal Harris, the city's manager of billing and collection for corporate services, said in an email that "the change is being made to allow the legal services division to relocate to the vacated space at city hall."
All in-person visits will require an appointment at the new location, which can be made by calling 807-625-2255.
In a release, the city said payments for taxes and water accounts could be made through online banking, by mailing a cheque to the city or using the payment drop-box at the Whalen building, which will open on June 24.
