Cambrian Players media release

Some fire regulations, which have recently been explained to the Finlandia Club have prohibit the Cambrian Players from admitting more than 200 audience members per night.

Due to the reduced capacity of the Finlandia Club by the City of Thunder Bay Fire Department, no tickets will be sold at the door and only the first 200 ticket holders can be admitted each evening.

"When Cambrian Players moved to the Finlandia we were told the capacity was 250 and we confirmed that number with the Finlandia last week," said corresponding secretary Lawrence Badanai in an email.

"This week we have been informed by the fire marshal it is now 200, and we've sold more than 200 tickets per show, so we are trying our best to reach out to our ticket buyers that have purchased these flexible general admission tickets and let them know."

Organizers are encouraging ticket holders to come early and not wait until the final night.

In a release, organizers apologized for any disappointment this may cause and want to let ticket holders know if refunds are needed they can email [email protected]
