THUNDER BAY -- One of the biggest annual events for Thunder Bay's downtown North core is set to go again Saturday night.
The Hunger is a Halloween extravaganza, featuring 56 performance acts, including 43 bands and DJs at seven venues around the Waterfront District.
Last year, more than 3,700 people attended the shows, most of them wearing Halloween costumes to win prizes at each location.
The Definitely Superior Art Gallery is one of the host sites.
Organizer Renee Terpstra said they also have specialty performers, including the Starlights Spinning Crew outside the Black Pirates Pub.
“With live electronic music created by a Nintendo DS by the Shallow Void, but there’s also belly dancing, Bollywood, drag performances and really so much more when it comes to specialty performances,” Terpstra said.
“It’s everything, basically, that is unique and special in terms of music performance all in one night.”
Wristbands for The Hunger event will be sold at any of the seven locations, starting when the doors open at 8 o'clock Saturday night.
