Want to reduce your odds of becoming involved in an automobile crash?
Well, you can start by avoiding Memorial Avenue and the Harbour Expressway.
Thunder Bay Police Service provided tbnewswatch.com with its first quarter traffic statistics Thursday. Those statistics show that intersections on Memorial Avenue and the Harbour Expressway are responsible for the most reported crashes between Jan. 1 and March 31.
The Golf Links Road corridor, including Junot, Avenue was also responsible for a significant number of crashes.
At the intersection of Memorial and Harbour, a total of six crashes were reported.
Meanwhile, another five crashes were reported at the corner of Memorial and Central Avenues.
Harbour and Balmoral Street was the scene of four crashes, as was the corner of Golf Links Road and Harbour.
