Thunder Bay Police have made an arrest in connection with last week's abduction and beating of a man at a Cumberland Street motel.

Kyle Truong, 34, also known as Tho Quach, surrendered Wednesday morning at the city police station on Balmoral Street.

Police issued a Canada wide warrant for him on Monday. He faces charges of kidnapping and confinement. Two other suspects were arrested earlier on similar charges.

Police continue to search for 36-year-old Emilio John Bisignano, who remains at large.

Meanwhile, more details are coming to light about the incident at the motel and the 45-year-old victim, who was treated and released from hospital.

Court records show this was the latest violent encounter between him and his assailants, with similar incidents dating back to last August. Police have said the encounters were drug-related. Court records show a female victim was also involved in one of the incidents. The investigation continues.
