Three arrested on drug charges after search of east end home

Police said the estimated street value of the drugs is more than $35,000.

THUNDER BAY — Three people face multiple drug-related charges after police searched an east end home.

Thunder Bay police said a search warrant was executed at a home on the 500 block of Pacific Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, which led to the seizures of suspected fentanyl and crack cocaine, along with cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

Three suspects were found in the home and were brought to the police station after being arrested.

Police said the estimated street value of the drugs is more than $35,000.

A 33-year-old from Thunder Bay is charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failure to comply with a release order.

A 38-year-old from Thunder Bay is charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

A 22-year-old from Toronto is charged with two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failure to comply with judicial release.

All three appeared in court on Thursday and remain in custody with future appearance dates scheduled.
