THUNDER BAY – Three people have been arrested and charged following a drug raid on the city’s south side.
Thunder Bay Police Service officials say the drug unit executed a search warrant on a Norah Street home at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday.
During the search officers found 140 grams of cocaine, and five grams of marijuana.
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is believed to be nearly $14,000.
Police also seized $12,600 in Canadian currency.
As a result of the search, police say a 29-year-old Thunder Bay man, 34-year-old Oakville man and 30-year-old from Toronto have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, proceeds of crime over $5,000 and possession of marijuana.
All three are expected to appear in court Thursday.
