Three Kings to play in NAPHL all-star games

Omar Belisle and Christian Cicigoi will represent the Minor Midget Kings in the U16 contest, while Quinton Loon-Stewartson will play in the U18 game.

THUNDER BAY – A trio of Thunder Bay Kings players has been chosen to play in the North American Prospects League all-star games.

Goalie Christian Cicigoi and forward Owen Belisle will represent their teams as part of Team Suter in the NAPHL 16U all-star game, while forward Quinton Loon-Stewartson will play for Team Suter in the U18 all-star game.

The fourth annual all-star games are scheduled to be played on Dec. 4 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minn., the younger players going at 6 p.m. and the 18Us at 8 p.m.

Belisle, a member of the Kings Minor Midget squad, has three goals and five assists in 13 NAPHL games this season, placing him second on the team being Keighan Gerrie. Cicigoi has a 2.14 goals against average and 3-3-1 record in seven appearances between the pipes.

Loon-Stewartson has six goals and four assists in 13 games for the 12th place Kings, who have posted a 4-6-3 record this season in the 18-team league.
