Three local men received a prestigious honour in Toronto this past weekend.
Dr. Mark Thibert, and lawyers Chris Watkins and Sandy Zaitzeff, were given honorary knighthoods in the Order of St. George.
Thibert was given the military-related order for his service as as military doctor in Afghanistan.
Watkins was honoured for his work on disability rights, and Zaitzeff was recognized for providing post-secondary bursaries and awards.
