KAKABEKA FALLS, Ont. -- Three men have been charged on multiple drug and firearm related offences following a weekend incident.
Thunder Bay detachment OPP officers responded to a theft at a gas station in Kakabeka Falls on Saturday. An hour later, police stopped a vehicle suspected to be connected to a crime on Highway 17 near Upsala.
The investigation revealed that there was a loaded 44 Smith and Wesson revolver as well as marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle.
A 33-year-old man from Edmonton, along with a 20-year-old and an 18-year-old man from the Toronto area were arrested and charged.
All there have been remanded into custody.
