MARATHON, ON – Three adults are facing charges after shoplifting at a grocery store in Marathon.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to Extra Foods for a shoplifting incident Friday afternoon after two Marathon residents were caught stealing various items.
As a result, a 29-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were charged with theft under $5,000.
A few hours later, police were called back to Extra Foods for another shoplifting incident involving a 55-year-old woman from Marathon.
She was also charged with theft under $5,000.
The three adults were released from custody and will appear in court on July 19.
