Three suspects sought after armed robbery

Police are looking for three male suspects after the armed robbery of a south-side convenience store early Thursday morning.

Police are looking for three male suspects after the armed robbery of a south-side convenience store early Thursday morning.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say officers responded to a reported robbery at a Mac’s Mart store on the corner of Syndicate Avenue and Arthur Street.

Police say three men entered the store just after 2 a.m. All three men wore balaclavas and were armed with a knife.

The convenience store employee complied with the suspects and was unharmed during the robbery.

Police are now looking for the three men.

Police say the first suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a logo over the heart and distinctive black armbands outlined with white on the sleeves.

The second and third suspects wore black hoodies and dark pants.
