UPDATE: Thunder Bay 50/50 prize soars past $166,000

THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation’s first 50/50 draw is taking on a life of its own.

As of Wednesday morning the estimated take-home prize had soared past $166,000, the money raised being used to purchase equipment at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

The first early bird draw, worth $500, will be held on Friday.

Tickets are $10 for five numbers, $20 for 30 numbers and $50 for 150 numbers and are available exclusively at www.thunderbay5050.ca.

Only people who are physically in Ontario at the time of purchase may buy a ticket.

The grand prize will be drawn for on Feb. 26.
