THUNDER BAY — A Thunder Bay-area man has been found dead in the Pakashkan Lake area, 200 kilometres northwest of the city.
Ontario Provincial Police were notified by family Sunday at about 10 p.m. that a 66-year-old resident of Rosslyn was missing.
The North West Region Emergency Response Team commenced an immediate search, and found him about early Monday morning deceased near his boat.
No foul play is suspected, but OPP said the cause of death is not known at this time.
A post-mortem will be scheduled for later this week.
