THUNDER BAY -- Citizens of Thunder Bay were offering their thoughts and prayers for the safe return of Delaine Copenace, at a vigil held here in the city Tuesday.
More than 50 people came to the Spirit Garden at Marina Park for a candlelight vigil.
It began with brief prayers, before the lighting of candles and singing of songs of protection. Frances Wesley is one of the vigil's organizers. She said it's important for all of Northwestern Ontario to offer support to Copenace's family in this difficult time.
Copenace is described as being 5'8, with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in downtown Kenora on Feb. 27 wearing black skater shoes, a black sweater and black jeans with zippered pockets.
Anyone with information on Copenace is asked to contact the OPP or Crimestoppers.
