Thunder Bay Hydro is trying to clear up confusion surrounding some advertisements that have been aired in the area.
The advertisements are being run province-wide by the Ontario Energy Board, and advise consumers on the times of day they can receive the lowest cost energy rates.
But Thunder Bay Hydro says the new time-of-use rate structure is still not impacting their customers. and thus the advice offered does not apply.
Time-of-use rate pricing will start in this area around August.
