Thunder Bay man charged in theft of logging truck

EAR FALLS, Ont. — Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a Thunder Bay man in connection with the theft of a logging truck on Sunday, June 24.

OPP said the 36-year-old man is scheduled to appear in court in Red Lake on July 19.

The logging truck and trailer were taken in the early morning hours from a parking lot outside the Hotel 105 Bar and Grill in Ear Falls.

It was subsequently located on Highway 105 between Ear Falls and Pakwash Provincial Park.

Police did not release further details of the case, but expressed thanks to members of the public who assisted in the investigation.
