THUNDER BAY — A Thunder Bay man is facing charges related to sexual assault dating back more than three years ago.
Court documents show Derek Kenney, 42, is facing one count of sexual assault from an incident that allegedly took place in November 2017.
The incident was reported to police in March. Kenney was released with conditions last week and is scheduled to appear in court next on May 4.
Thunder Bay police say the investigation into the incident remains open and active. Due to the integrity of the investigation, police say they cannot share more details at this time.
